International travel and tourism makes people prejudiced rather than broad-minded. What are its causes and what measures can be taken to solve this problem?
It is an irrefutable fact that due to an urge to learn new cultures and visit new places, international tourism has increased considerably, which is, among other things, resulting in increased prejudice rather than broad mindedness. Considering this, this essay will ascertain the considerable factors which are playing their predominating role to increase the incidents of being prejudice before outlining appropriate measures to cope.
There are some factors involved in increasing the prejudice against the international tourists during their travel. Firstly, cultural and traditional sentiments could be a significant espousing factor to be considered. It is generally seen that the international tourists, inadvertently, end up hurting the cultural or traditional beliefs of not only certain communities but also some religions, which is not considered appropriate by the natives.
